Clove, the name of traditional Chinese medicine. Eugenia caryoph is a Myrtle plant μ Dry buds of llata Thunb. When the buds turn from green to red, they are picked and dried in the sun. The product is slightly rod-shaped, 1-2cm long. The Corolla is spherical, with a diameter of 0.3-0.5cm. The petals are 4, imbricate and clasped, brown or brownish yellow. There are stamens and styles in the petals. Many yellow and fine-grained anthers can be seen after crushing. Calyx tube cylindric, slightly flat, some slightly curved, 0.7-1.4cm long, 0.3-0.6cm in diameter, reddish brown or tan, with 4 triangular sepals on the upper part, separated by a cross. Solid and oily. It has strong aroma, spicy taste and numb tongue feeling.
