Cicadas, the name of traditional Chinese medicine. All of them are hollow and slightly curved like cicadas. The length is about 3.5cm and the width is about 2cm. The surface is yellowish brown, translucent and shiny. There is a pair of filiform antennae in the head, most of which have been broken, the compound eye is prominent, the neck apex is prominent, the muzzle is developed, the upper lip is wide and short, and the lower lip is elongated into a tubular shape. There are cross-shaped lobes on the back of the chest, the cracks are curled inward, and there are 2 pairs of wings on both sides of the back;

There are 3 pairs of feet on the ventral surface, covered with yellow brown fine hairs. The abdomen is blunt, with 9 segments. Light, hollow and fragile. It is odorless and light.
