Benefits of Sage

Sage, also known as yerba mate, is an herbal plant that belongs to the mint family. This silvery green plant is native to the Mediterranean region and has been used for thousands of years for therapeutic purposes. The ancient Egyptians used the herb to improve fertility. The Latin word for sage means ” healing “, indicating that it has medicinal value.
